Book Updates

Man! The holidays have come and gone, the new year has started, and I find myself finally posting on my page! Time goes so fast, especially when I don’t keep a to-do list as a reminder to update these pages.

My editor is behind on my latest two books. He is also a teacher and has been extremely busy with his primary career. But I’m hoping to release my mystery novel, “The Fools, the Flood, and the Fall” soon. I’m hoping that my Biblical fiction novel, “The Shomer” will soon follow.

Currently, I’ve been working on a historical fiction novel, which I researched over the summer. The book is set in my hometown of Worland, Wyoming in 1904. It chronicles two families who move into the area to start farming. The families come from different social classes, but the rugged frontier of the area becomes the equalizer as both families realize they must depend on each other if they are to succeed. Through many trials, the two families have a choice to band together or allow tribulations to tear them apart.

I’m looking forward to the completion of this story. I feel as if this story has the potential to rival some of Taylor Sheridan’s stories, which center around the Northern Rockies at the turn of the century. My hometown has some unique, lively, and vivid characters, who I believe readers will relate to and cheer for. I’m excited for this new turn in my life as an author and can’t wait to share this story with you. I’ll keep you updated!
